Dear Trader:
My new Power Trading Tools Sessions, PTT II, are coming up on June 6 and I’m excited to announce some big changes from recent PTT sessions.
If you have attended my Power Trading Tools Sessions, then you know that I have given you very specific trading methods, systems, and objective tools designed to help you profit in today’s difficult markets. On a weekly basis I have also given you specific trades, as well as follow-through, from start to finish on most trades. I have wanted you to see how concept becomes methodology and then becomes set-up, trigger, and follow-through as a complete package to success in the stock and futures markets. However, after several years of sessions similar to PTT, I decided to make a very big change.
Rather than going through a number of focused indicators, timing triggers, and trades each week - PTT II will focus on only one subject per 90-minute session and will be covered in considerable depth.
As you know, I’m very big on focus. Sometimes I may emphasize focus too strongly; however, after 44 years of experience in trading, investing, and researching market strategies, I know for a fact that focus is one of my top five tools for success. Consequently, I am going to focus on focus - and that is not double talk.
Here is a detailed view of what Session 1 will cover:
- Harnessing the power of momentum
- What exactly is momentum, and how does it reveal developing
trend changes?
- Objective application of momentum as a divergence trigger and set-up in numerous time frames
- Using momentum to spot "insider" trading activity
- Momentum above and below zero-what it really means.
- Second and third derivatives of momentum as timing triggers
- Using momentum as an exit strategy
- When momentum is meaningful; when momentum is meaningless
- How bearish momentum without a trigger precedes large moves up
- How bullish momentum without a trigger precedes moves down
- Momentum of market sentiment as a trigger and set-up

Each of these topics will be covered in considerable detail with clear examples to show you why I believe that momentum is one of the most powerful tools that we have in our arsenal of trading tools. In future weeks, I will cover the following topics, devoting each 90-minute session almost exclusively to the particular topic.
